It's honestly not. Anyone can see he's a cut above most of the dross in the PL. He's an aerial threat and a player who can bring the ball out. I suppose if the general idea of a good solid CB is Robert Huth or James Collins then he's not in that league!
He will be back in the SPL or Dutch league within 6months.

As @Brendan Janus mentioned, I'd put a pretty large part of this down to Forster returning to their starting line up.
Obviously van Dijk's own performances have contributed so not taking anything away from him, but I'd say the keeper has been the key catalyst.
I'd have both of them here to be fair!
