virgin broadband upgrade

Nope, I got a new modem a good few months ago but I haven't noticed anything about logging in, I'll have a look around later in case my dad's opened it & I haven't seen it yet
 
Dnoo really, ive got the best one on Virgin Media and its great. Fecking annoying when they do updates though, no warning at all and the internets down for a day sometimes 2. You'd think they would do that at night! It happened to me recently and i couldnt get my coursework done :@. They got a heavy complaint (even though i got an extension on my c/w)
 

the flyer says "good news, your up to 10mb broadband upgrade is here".

says to go to a page titled "go faster" on their homepage and sign up to get it when it comes to your area. a while ago they said my area was gonna be one of the 1st to get it, maybe it's so they can send a modem if a new one is needed. i woulkdnt mind a new router as this one i bought has always kept disconnecting, i think if i got one off them though then i would be tied in.

they have put you bill up by £2 though so it aint free as such!

still waiting for my upgrade to happen even though they are taking the extra £2 a month!
 
I take it all you people are lucky enough to get cable?

I'm stuck with crappy adsl as my street is deemed unsuitable for fibre optic cable apparently. Something to do with solid rock foundations or some guff.

I hate Virgin, with a passion.

Virgin media deal with cable, yet Virgin Net deal with ADSL (i think they have now become Virgin Media but are still separate companies?!) , so when I attempted to transfer across when I moved they couldn't do it.

Idiots.

Plain and simple.

I'm waiting patiently for Sky to give me my free broadband so I can jizz Virgin off once and for all.

cheers buddy i checked mine yesterday and it wasnt done just did it now and its at 10mb!!
