I don't understand how people can write him off after that game haha, I thought he was ok.

He's a young lad in a foreign country, his home nation being invaded by a psychopath, he doesn't speak english yet - run of games and I think he will be a solid LB

He showed he can get forward, just clearly lacking confidence and understandably

Also, all eyes/cameras were on him. That's a lot of pressure, regardless of quality of opposition. He'll be fine. I don't think he'll be as good for us as Baines was but he'll be a decent player for us.

Most of the play ended up going through the right-hand side last night, particularly in the first half, so if anything he just seemed a bit quiet. Gordon was constantly getting on the ball ahead of him and immediately cutting inside, which is generally fine, but it meant he was receiving less of the ball on the overlap. Thought we was unlucky with that chance early in the first half.. a good hit considering the pass from Doucoure into him was a little undercooked.

I think he's been okay so far personally. I think he has a fairly high ceiling from what I've seen.

needs to be brought up to speed, physically he needs to fill out a bit. Im sure he will be ok.

Digne is not a huge loss tbh, couldn't stand his defensive lapses - we should have got Targett in exchange though

Gentle reminder that one of the Prem's great left backs Patrice Evra struggled for the first year and a half after joining United. Not every player adapts to a new country, new culture, new team and teammates immediately - then you can throw in the turmoil going on in his homeland.

He was very highly rated for a reason, give him time to settle in and he'll be fine.

Sitting on the fence with this one, bad enough the manager that signs you because he gets rid of a fan favourite to one of his former Kopite captain. Signing manager gets sacked soon after. Then putting aside, new country injury and home country being at war. Think I'm happy to let him settle for several months longer before judging.
