Hope Seamus isnt playing in meaningless games this Summer.
I don't know who takes credit for his signing but getting Mykolenko and Patterson for Digne is looking like excellent business.
I think the words "too early to tell" apply here. We haven't seen Patterson yet and Mykolenko isn't as good as Digne.
Mykolenko is a better defender than Digne, don't see many brushing him off as we saw with Digne. Both have their benefits though.
Mykolenko is several years younger and when you consider the overall circumstances and his performances in the last dozen games then I think he may have a ceiling at least as high as peak Digne.
It must be remembered that in his last twelve months at Everton that Digne was quite poor at times.
Patterson is still untested but it would appear the potential is there.
….I very much doubt it.
