I was thinking this. Do you need both fullbacks to be expansive. He can balance out Patterson. Perhaps if we were a CL side you would have a concern but he is good enough for the next level down and there is room for improvement

No you don't need both, and think with where they're at its a good thing.
Need the stability at the back to progress.
And also allows the space for the 3 CMs, Myko has been good at understanding the movement of the three imo, isn't getting caught in the way
and playing more to a lcb than lwb allows more rotation through the left forward.

It's was the standard 7/10 we come to expect. Dependable as always, just wish he would trust himself a bit more to get forward
