Ashley Young has kept Old Mister Time waiting a lot longer than most and looks and acts very well for it.

If it is a serious injury, that’s Chermiti, Broja, Garner, Iroegbunam, Branthwaite, Calvert Lewin, Ndiaye, McNeil, Mangala, Coleman, Patterson, Mykolenko who have all had serious injuries this season. I know all teams get injuries but this is just not normal to have so many out for so long.

It’s very disappointing if it is a serious injury. Not only will he be out for the rest of the season, but it will make selling him harder to do, and he only has 12 months left on his contract.

Reality is he's not top drawer atm, but a reliable squad player for LB, glad Moyes has given him a run to help develop his forward play, too

I would not wish injury on him and we will obviously miss him if Young is the replacement. We will probably drop points as a result. But in the off chance that Young is not Moyes's solution, these things can often be a blessing in disguise. We may find more depth in the position while he is out. We are already safe so we can afford to get experimental to find a solution. We can't have Myko as the only left back. The injuries for him have started to pile up a bit and we need an improvement on the offensive front. Curious to see if we stick with Young or Moyes actually looks in a different direction. I get the impression that Moyes kind of grew off on Ash a bit.

Comes across as a decent bloke, but never been good enough in my opinion.

Fullbacks these days have to be able to offer more than just defending, which he can’t.

Picks up a lot of injuries too.

Already needed replacing before this injury, so not much has changed on that front.
