So sad this, I thought over the last year or so he'd grown in to a good solid defensive unit. In fact he's had MOM from me on a few occasions. Don't know what's happened. I can only guess he's being asked to get up the pitch more and he's not comfortable in that role. His defending which for me was solid has gone very much downhill.

Really, really crap.

Anyone who thinks otherwise after he has a half decent game against someone who’s running at him is just not clued up on football.

The lad makes fundamental defensive errors time after time. I thought he’d had ironed at least a couple out by now but I’ve never seen anything like it.

He’s surprised every time a ball goes in the channel between him and his CB, and I’m not sure if they allow one-twos in Ukraine but he seems confused when it happens to him here.

Just plain dreadful, not nasty enough either.
