2024/25 Vitalii Mykolenko

Fair enough. I don't watch any of the U21 so I'll concede to your superior knowledge on that.

However, I do know that even if we threw Mykolenko down to that level he would still offer absolutely nothing past the half way line.
He's right about the gap of u21 to first team, look at the EFL Trophy, you dont see any u21 teams winning it, they mostly lose to league 1/2 sides.

Your right about Mykolenko though, going forward he offers nothing, possibly would still offer nothing at lower level as well.

Patterson isn't great either, but I'd think young at left back & starting Patterson at right back is a good way to drop Mykolenko

Letting Godfrey leave now not looking the brightest call ever either. Nice one Thelwell.
Not really, that would leave mgt with en easy out. Godfrey is def not the answer either.
Nor is Young if Ndaiye continues to play on left.
Need someone who can link well with our best player.
Ndaiye actually creates a lot of space and good positions for Myko. He's poor to very poor with the ball too often. Instead of continuing the skill, execution and vision of Ndaiye the play invariably breaks down.
If there was one position I'd be spending on now it's LB (followed closely by others)
