We'll give him time, but pretending he's had a good half isn't necessary. He just has to be better than Coleman at left wing back since it's clear that's our only other option. If he's still playing like a 20m pea-headed Jonjoe Kenny on the left in May then people should rightly be asking longer-term questions, though.

To be fair, I doubt that league is as intense. At the same time he should have been playing better opposition than Hull! He'll need some time to bed in but I am not sure if he is an upgrade on Digne.
