is it from a garage / showroom ?

Does it have a warranty ?

What are the issues ?

You may be covered under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 ?

I bought a second hand car a few years back from and independent dealer, with a one year warranty.

Two weeks after I bought it, the gear box blew up. The garage paid for a recon replacement, but not recovery costs.
Join GEM breakdown best in the business IMO ....

Had someone sell me one these recently

Steve was the salesmen, it’s got issues now couple of days after the warranty do you think I could possibly go back, or do you think they may have beaton me on it?

'Recently' would mean a few weeks no?

So a warranty should last longer than a few weeks.

If over warranty, go back to the same place and see if you can do a part exchange.

Volvos' owned by the chinese now so...bin it.

The Chinese company bought Volvo in 2010, so this model isn’t one of theirs.

Plus, only the really big Volvos are made in China, the rest are made in the States and Europe. 👍

Once its off the forecourt. Then legally unless you paid for 3 months warranty. The used car salesman doesn't have to do anything.

You could go down small claims court.
