Vote - DCL or BETO who should start up top

Have you seen him run ? Like a bulldozer no skill can't trap the ball or lay it off maybe better with him & DCL up top as Dwight Macneil needs dropping so try 442 & stop hoof ball ....

Well he is not going to get better by 1 - not player and 2 - People getting on his back.

Both are pretty poor at finishing but DCL definitely gives you more in build up play.

In an ideal world I'd agree with @Zatara that we would sell both and bring in someone decent but that's not going to happen.

Thought this was settled last season.

Beto is completely unsuited to the way we play and yet still returns better than DCL.

If we look at the numbers thrown around...

£25mil DCL
£17mil Beto
£8.5mil Maupay

= £50.5mil

Obviously deals havent been done but IF (a big one) we had obtained those fees...

Ferguson (Brighton), Omorodion (Atletico) or Jonathan David (Lille) may have been possible.

Its so disappointing to be close to the end of the window and all of these 3 Centre Forwards are still at the club.

DCL has no future at this club, even if it turns out that Beto is awful we should at least give him a go.

Btw, I know he isn't easy on the eye sometimes but his goals to minutes ratio last season is actually okay.

If Beto starts every game between now and end of season I reckon double figures guaranteed. We know that won't happen with Dom, especially with the effort he's currently displaying.
