I dont vote and I dont want to open a box of worms but the Cuban people get to vote too - dont believe all they tell you stateside pal.

The last election saw a turnout of more than 96%, some going that.

Next thing you know, someone will tell me that Saddam Hussein kept winning his "elections" every year.

You know Im not going to go into it but dont believe all you hear. The C word has been banded around as dirty for decades now but take it from someone who has a much better understanding of it than nearly any foreigner you know, we've been blagged a bit.

Id say the US Political system is slightly more screwed up after watching CNN, Id be concerned theres a better health care system, lower unemployment and far far less crime but as you said its best to agree to disagree mate.

I just look at things from a neutral point of view.

i've seen that places are different to what they are portrayed as. as isaid before to you i wanted to go to cuba, but to stay in havana to see what it's like, i want to learn how to roll a cigar and drink coffee and see what the place is like, thats what we did everywhere we went too and most you come away from with a totally different opinion. buenos aires i reckon has the same chilled atmosphere, may go 'cos my daughters learning salsa.
 
Or even that two people can go to the same place/city and have a totally different view of it, hate it or love it.
I went to Venice for the first time in December and thought it was the tits, yet a few of my mates had slagged it off before I went.

I fancy Buenos Aires myself, Ive heard nothing but good things about it mate.
