Want to post something but there isn't a thread that quite fits - thread

Was at a NYE party at a brewery in downtown Dallas the other night and found this majestic game. First time I ever got to play and it was a blast. Apparently there's only 4 known tables in the state of Texas.

It appears from the signs to be some sort of 'billiards', the table looks aged, not least the mechanical lever I expect to release the balls in a former life. Did you get a close up of the label? just under the button of your pal's jacket?

What's with the long black garments lined up on the wire coat hangers? Interesting building, is it affiliated with some religious connotation at all?

It's an old bar billiards game from the UK. Wasn't even able to find one of these while I was visiting. Unfortunately did not get a close up, but I'll be back there sometime.

The hanging garments are just shirts for sale that feature the brewery name/logo.

As for the venue, it used to be the "Dallas Power and Light" building back when it was constructed in the early 1930's. It's an art deco building and looks fantastic both inside and out. It's pretty old/historic by our standards here in the states.

Isn't it Bagatelle? When I had a real job many years ago an old guy I worked with played it.

I missed this reply. I've just googled and Bagatelle is a bit different. Memory playing tricks.
