Want to post something but there isn't a thread that quite fits - thread

Tried to start the car. Fob wouldn't unlock and then absolutely nothing when the key was turned....not so much as a glimmer from the dashboard lights.

Just put a multimeter to the battery and returned a reading of 3.3 - I'm guessing it's a touch flat.

Spent a glorious couple of hours with a couple of brasses in Liverpool city centre.

you gotta hand it to the brasses from the City, some of the dirtiest known to man.

Bravo!!

Just wanted to say now that I'm older. Does anyone else wander why we are taught things such as...
We should always clean behind our ears when we shower. (They never get dirty)

We should never look in the microwave when it's on as the radiation is bad for you (surely not the case)

Eat lots of carrots because they will help your vision get better (so when your young you eat them and got this placebo effect of feeling your vision was improving, yet realistically they are doing absolutely nothing for your vision)

Actually, the middle one is true to a degree. I got a radiation spike on my film badge (dosimeter) at work one month and we were very confused as to why and turned out it was from watching my porridge every morning hah.

Went to see grandkids and daughter today for a socially distanced visit rather than the usual Face-time chat. Came away with “Come back Nanny, I haven’t given you a hug!” ringing in my ears, nearly broke my heart.
