Buried my grandad yesterday. Wierd family tho. Uncle didnt turn up. And there are 4 sisters. Half the people went to st helens and the rest went into town. It wasnt how he should have been celebrated.

He was a caring witty weirdo who would tell you a story which would either end 3 ways
1) a really interesting fact that mafe you wonder if he was part genius
2) a real merchant navy tale which ended up with him smashing a brass
3) he made the lot up as a longwinged way to rip you.

Anyway the family should have been together put petty greviances aside and be together. I stay out of all that because im not bothered.

Anyway if your still reading cheers. I needed to get that of my chest.

Thank you. What i should have said was i cant be bothered getting involved in the politics.

Condolences on the loss of your grandad, he certainly seems like a character and a pity that some could not put other things aside just for a day.

That's the old Hotel Windsor, which stands where the Federal Courthouse is today. In between, it was a building that housed Woolworth's and JC Penny.
