Anyone ever had chimney stacks taken down? Ive got three on my house I'm worried about, thought about having the external parts removed, which is about 10 rows of bricks.
Also it's a party wall thing, which I'm worried is going to be a pain since I'll have to sort it with the next door home owner.
Anyone any experience in such matters?
None of them are used and bits keep falling off them.

TBH, I haven't got a clue mate but on this thread it's going to be missed by most. I'm sure in amongst the obvious banter if you set it as the title in its own thread I would imagine there is a builder amongst us who can advise you.
As a complete layman in this department would repointing the bricks to a high standard be a lot cheaper and easier than removing them?
