Want to post something but there isn't a thread that quite fits - thread

Was looking through a photo album with the wife from our holiday in the IOM in 1976, for some bizarre reason we put coins in the album, looking at the coins tonight, one of the coins was minted in 1979 but we bought the coin back in 1976 how can this be, anyone got any ideas, probably a simple explanation but can't think of one.

I need someone to help me solve the problem
Think we can all assume Siva won’t be here when next season kicks off. Given our team is poo ATM and with Zouma and Gomez on loan and being 1st teamers, we’re gonna have to spend quite big just to stay where we are. Either we buy them 2 or we bring in 2 players that will have to walk into the 1st team. Jags and Baines contracts coming to an end, weakening the squad. And that’s before we get a much needed forward. I can’t see us spending big money as, surely, the new Stadium will have to start getting funded in some way shortly. I think we’re entering very worrying times. The only hope is Brands working some magic and getting some bargains. Thing is, the players that he’ll be looking at will be getting looked at by other Prem clubs. It was a bit different in Holland as he was at one of the top Clubs and not under as much pressure, he could gamble and get players in, that maybe, other Prem clubs thought were too much of a gamble. I seriously doubt he can do it here. I’m officially starting to worry about the future. Am I being unnecessarily negative after what we’ve just witnessed today?
