Remember those halcyon days when you logged onto GOT post match and there was a beautifully biased match report sitting there waiting for you to read ?
No ? Well, it was a while ago and I think @Tubey wrote them, but that's by the by. Anyway, we'd like to bring them back so that for each match we've got :
I closed a couple of threads down yesterday ( by @MACCA75 and @blueboy1664 ), not because they were bad threads, but because they were basically just doing the same sort of post match analysis that was going on in the preview thread, but there might be something to said for having the preview for pre-match and during the match stuff, and then another thread for a more considered, thought provoking analysis of the match or, as we like to call it, a fumefest.
In terms of guidelines as to what to write, then that'll be pretty much up to you. Obviously it needs some facts in it on stuff like goals, terrible refereeing decisions, the length of Mirallas' shorts and Deulofeu's latest haircut but, if you want to steer discusion down a particular path like @MACCA75 did before I cut him off in his prime, then that's fine.
Ideally you'd be in a position to plonk your words up here within a couple of hours of the final whistle, which might make it tricky for matchgoers, but it does give those marooned many miles from Goodison to share their perspective.
So, if you're up for the task then shout your names out. @McBain has already volunteered to give his unique insight on the games, but, ideally we'd have a few people sharing the work so it gets mixed up a bit and we'd ( mod team and any interested reporters ) agree who was doing the report a few days before the game.
