I've looked and tried to find footage of the win against the daytrippers in 1971 when Johnson scored, our last win against them for another 7 years. Any links at all? And as it was before I was born, what was the game like that day?

Never seen any footage mate which is a shame,I started going regular a couple of years later so can't tell you anything I'm afraid,but was there for the "Kingy" derby in 1978,still my own personal favourite game at GP in my lifetime that one:)

I've checked to see what matches were television on that day. Some crackers :
Kick Off (Granada) - Preston - Sheffield Wednesday
MOTD - Villa - Notts County
Man.U. - Spurs

And that's it ; conspiracy theories welcome
