Look at those legs go.lol
@LinekersLegs
I went into work one day and the Boss told me, you know how to set up and balance grinding wheels? (crucial if you don't want an aluminium oxide wheel shattering at 22,000 revs )
Yep
You might know how well enough but you have to have the paper to prove it, so you're going on a 1 day course
Where's it at?
Everton
Where abouts?
No, Everton...Goodison - The Royal Blue Lounge (or whatever it was called) I've got to have 2 ticket holders, you're one and I'm sending Gerry G....... ( company brown nose/biggest 'kin know all, plus all around typical kopite/rs of the never go to the match variety) with you to keep an eye on you...why I have no idea, give a dog a bad name etc. But I would say that wouldn't I (I never got caught for the stuff I DID do and always got the blame for stuff I was no way involved with *shrugs)
A replay meant any spare tickets were via postal application or from the ground on the day of the game...the very same day of the course.
Morning break; come on Gezza lets go for a mooch around, I had a vague idea of the layout, we went in the dressing rooms. Wonder where this door goes as I opened it - The directors box, we went down the steps, the blue Archie Leitch criss crosses, the green green grass of home, we sat in Bill and Wood's seat...this is better than your 'kin kop, had a smoke then went back in to our lessons.
Lunch was in the main dining room as it was then, with 2 long tables.
The Squad sat on one table...all seemed relaxed happy and laughing.
The Engineers sat on the other.
Afternoon break; I legged it round to the ticket office and got 4 tickets for the upper Bullens
Did the Q&A, got our certificates, home to pick up the kids, then over to The Mammy's, parked by The Arthur...and the rest as they say is history.
