"Watch Classic Matches Again"

I was there too, always remember getting back on the coach soaking wet for the long journey home,on the way back it broke down somewhere in the midlands,we manged to limp off the motorway and had to wait ages for a replacement, but I didn't really care after a game like that. Always remember Liverpool played in the league cup final the next day and lost to Arsenal. We'd actually won at Arsenal the week before (the Wayne Clarke lob) on the day that Liverpool lost at home to Wimbledon (the celebrations in the away end when we heard that result..!),but it was after that Chelsea game that you really felt that the momentum had swung our way. It was fantastic watching Everton away from home in those days!

We were privileged sam,I thought it would last forever, still just glad I "lived" those days:)

Don't really bother much with aways now, though I stilI have my S.T. for the homes, anyway, was in my mid to late teens when we had that glorious period from 84-7 and travelled everywhere I could,I really, really hope the young lads and lasses who follow the Blues away these days get even just a little taste of what it was like following such a great team as we had back then.

Do you know what Joey....I can't even bring myself to watch that video clip because it will hurt.
there are some different angles and how dirty they were though- blame wilf Dixon in charge Roger kenyon sub in every round great centre half swapped for sandy brown in the last half hour - Kenyon was fuming..........
