Colchester played Leeds at home when they knocked them out in a shock result...
Yep that was my point. They did not choose to swap their fixture with Leeds to play at Elland Rd. I think Leeds were actually 2-0 up as well. It was a massive upset. We put them to the sword though. Our win was never in any doubt.
 

2 stupendous headed goals by Andy Gray (don't seem to see many like that nowadays). Sublime Bracewell pass then tricky working his magic and getting a beaut. What more could one ask for in a match. Sunderland went at us that day and they scored a good goal which was disallowed wrongly for offside. It was a much harder match than the scoreline suggests........well up to trickys goal it was. 3 brilliant goals in one match. Just days after the famous White Hart Lane win.

You're right about the headers, it's all fancy flicks and slide rule passes nowadays.
