Watches

I'm wearing this one today. I never get tired of looking at this dial.

Is it MOP behind the top mesh or a heat treatment...

Probably something of a marmite design, but from a watchmaking perspective this is rather good.
Always been a bit meh by the likes of LV etc doing watches but more recently I think they can hold their heads up as a genuine watchmaker, esp with collaborations like this.

Just need to have a rummage down the sofa for a spare €550,000.

Not for me, design-wise, but that's a heck of a collaboration.

How we liking the new Rolex Land Dweller?
Looks bit of a throw back to the oyster quartz and price wise is a fair bit higher than what appears to be a similar watch with the Datejust, the differentiator being the new movement resulting in a 9.7mm case thickness - 2.3mm thinner than the datejust.

Personally quite like it, certainly grown on me since it was launched the other day.

The light blue face version of it is lovely, like how thin the new movement is in it aswell and the open caseback.

Quite like all the innovations in the movement, but the design isn’t working for me (for now).

Platinum model, £50k 🤣

Just tried the configurator for a 36mm so I could tell the Mrs it’s for her (even though I’d wear it 🤫) looks like the Rolesor version is only available with the white dial for now @ £12,250, 40mm starting at £13k.

Needless to say will carry on only looking at them for a while yet……

I like it apart from the pattern on the dial. Would have been so much nicer without.
