It is a MOP dial under the mesh black steel dial.Is it MOP behind the top mesh or a heat treatment...
Not for me, design-wise, but that's a heck of a collaboration.Probably something of a marmite design, but from a watchmaking perspective this is rather good.
Always been a bit meh by the likes of LV etc doing watches but more recently I think they can hold their heads up as a genuine watchmaker, esp with collaborations like this.

Introducing: The Louis Vuitton x Kari Voutilainen LVKV-02 GMR 6 (Live Pics, Pricing)
The second of a five-piece limited series that started with Rexhep Rexhepi, the watch is far more than just a GMT – it's a work of art.www.hodinkee.com
Just need to have a rummage down the sofa for a spare €550,000.
Echos of a Gerald Genta design which is no bad thing.I quite like this new chrono by Baume & Mercier, though its MSRP is quite high...In a year or two, you could find one used for 60% less or more I suspect.

The light blue face version of it is lovely, like how thin the new movement is in it aswell and the open caseback. How we liking the new Rolex Land Dweller?
Looks bit of a throw back to the oyster quartz and price wise is a fair bit higher than what appears to be a similar watch with the Datejust, the differentiator being the new movement resulting in a 9.7mm case thickness - 2.3mm thinner than the datejust.
Personally quite like it, certainly grown on me since it was launched the other day.
Quite like all the innovations in the movement, but the design isn’t working for me (for now). How we liking the new Rolex Land Dweller?

I had a look at their website, very nice, definitely food for thought - especially at the priceCan still highly recommend the Henry Archer Nordso for anyone new to watches. It's great value for money and has good looks. Not too big. Super thin for a dive watch. Great specs and well-regarded movement.

I like it apart from the pattern on the dial. Would have been so much nicer without. How we liking the new Rolex Land Dweller?
