Watching on TV compared to the ground

Do i get paid for mods using my name without my knowledge?

Of course its better to watch the game in the flesh as you see the overall picture and not just what the tv director wants you to see. For instance if you only watched MoTd, you would have thought Grav was great as the 2 mins they showed, made him look good. But if you were actually there, them highlights were in fact the only thing the headless chicken actually did

Shock, Horror !!!

The conspiracy has been revealed.

The TV Director only wants me to see certain things when watching a match on TV...

...namely the ball and the players on it.

Next time I tune into an Everton match and I see the TV director focusing on the action, you can be sure I'll be emailing a complaint in straight away. :dodgy:

Going to the game is definately better. However, as I live in Holland it's impossible to be at Goodison every week. So television is a great alternative and lucky enough I can watch about 90% of all Everton matches live on tv. Try to get over to England at least twice a season. Last year watched Arsenal at home and Fulham away. This year I hope I can enjoy my first Merseyside derby in the flesh and think I will also set my sights on the away game against Newcastle. Over here in Holland I probably missed about 10 Fortuna Sittard matches in the last 12 years

As usual, you miss the point..........Way to go!

Just to stray of the point a little, why cant sky give internatioanl fans a choice of games like they do for the champions leauge games. when i was in Oz is was class you had a match choice and could pick which game you wanted to watch live. Pisses me of i have to pay 70 yoyos a month for an occasional Everton game and drop another 50 down the pub when there on Setanta. They have the technology and have camereas at every game sort it out!:@

I have been to nearly every home game since 1958 a season ticket holder since 61 and have seen a average of 50-65 percent of away games although due to ill health I missed more games at home last season than any other season(5) I will be gutted if I cant go next season as I'm not to good at the moment .but much as I prefer to be at the game as I feel more apart of it I think the coverage on Sky now is good enough for people to have a reasonable opinion I might not agree with them but I Don't always agree with the guy sitting next to me as you know I rate Manny this is what makes footy so great every one has their own opinion(y)
