You're right, it wasn't a yellow and the referee has made a mistake, however when on a yellow you know the referee is taking an extra special eye on you.

Which is why i agreed in my original reply, no reason for Delph to give the ref an excuse.

Doesn't change the fact the ref has been awful and got that blatently wrong. Most likely the linesman is the one who said yellow.
