Obviously getting back after the game on the train is a ball ache. I’ve got tickets to Warrington as you can’t get back to Liverpool. My mate reckons though Virgin are planning to add Watford as a stop to one of the later Virgin Liverpool trains from Euston (guessing the 8 o clock one) and anyone with a rail ticket back north can get on. They did it the other year. Has anyone seen this?

Virgin Trains have arranged for an additional service back to Liverpool Lime Street from Watford Junction station at 19.57pm. The train will depart from London Euston Station at 19.42pm and will depart from Watford Junction Station at 19.57pm. The aim is to help reduce overcrowding on the 20.07pm departure from London.

EFC fans can use this service like any other timetabled Virgin Trains service. They will allow anyone with a valid Virgin Trains ticket on this service. To maximise capacity, the service will be standard class only. The service is now visible in journey planning systems but you cannot reserve a seat on it. This again, is to maximise the available capacity.

Virgin Train Managers will make announcements on morning journeys to London and West Midlands trains who run Watford station will be advertising this service for arriving fans. It is recommend to always check the British Transport Police Twitter account for all the latest updates when travelling via: @BTPFootball. Please be advised to drink responsibly.

Lets be honest these aren’t really a top division team are they. They are ping pingers at best and most of the time they are championship fodder. No one would be surprised if they went down... we should be looking forward to tonking them with our far better squad, players, technical skills, etc. but sadly we are actually gash also so its a 0-0
