Hope he does it just to have Charltons name wiped off the top....
 
I had a strong feeling we would sell rom in the summer and cut a deal for Wayne. However with mourinho looking like he is going to Utd I can see him staying there. Disappointing if you ask me. I could see him doing the business back 'home'!
 

South stand at Old Trafford being renamed in honour of Sir Bobby Charlton. It will be unveiled on 2nd April, before our game with them.

Anyone else enough of a cynic, like me, to think United are pushing this through before a scouser beats Charlton's record as all time top scorer?
 
Lots of talk about Mourinho going to Man Ure and maybe Ibrahimovic going there.
Can't see Rooney playing second fiddle to the mighty Zlatan so he may decide to move on.
The smart money is on either China or MLS but my fingers are crossed he comes home to the Toffees.
Plenty people don't want him back but I would welcome it.
Love a bit of nostalgia me! And imagine him scoring against the Reds? Pure bliss!

We've had his out a few times now.

I'm not against it, when he came on for us against Villareal in August for Dunc's testimonial we played better, we attacked more in that 15 mins that we had the previous season as a whole.

I just can't see it, realistically. Wages etc.

Can you imagine buying a car based on Wayne Rooney smiling on a poster with said car. Has anyone ever bought something or made a decision because of a sportsman or celeb on it. Are people that daft?

"My kids wanted to go to Disneyland, but then we saw the image of Leon Osman on the Blackpool big dipper and had a change of heart".

I bought a Kookaburra bat cos Dean Jones used one.
