That's similar to what he's on now as in Utd pay him 150k and sponsors pay the rest. This is why his wage went down to 250k when not in the CL.
I did a while back look to see what he got as image rights and it was only something like 500k (could have been after Utd's cut) a year so can't see him pulling in 120k a week.

If it's sponsorship fees isn't that separate to what he earns from the club for image rights?

Unless he's going back to Umbro and bringing back those golden boots!?

To me it's all down to how much we have to pay in his wages- anything above 150k and it's not fair on the rest of the team having a semi retired former star get paid way more than other squad members. Plus if his contract is anything more than a year it's a huge gamble as we could be stuck with him on our books. If it's 100 k or less then it demonstrates a real commitment to everton and shows he recognises his true value-in that case happy to welcome him here.
