Got brushed off the ball a few times and just lost his head. You would think at 32 he would be the calm head in the side telling the rest of them to keep their composure after conceding and keeping the belief up. Instead he spent the first half moaning and was rightly subbed off.

I think hes showing what most of us could have figured: hes old. He shouldnt have played as much as he has, and is better suited to play every other game, not every game at this stage of his career. You can either play tired Rooney who cant do much, or rested Rooney who can hit worldies.
Hopefully that was just due to our lack of other options, and hopefully that starts to change now, and we get other players more games to get him a rest.

He was terrible tonight. Can't play as a 10 nevermind a 9. He's a central midfielder and not for every game anymore.

I can't fathom why he hasn't been kept there.
Sam has done weird stuff. Like seeing Wayne do well in midfield then pushing him forward. Like seeing Holgate play well, then drop him. Like see Gylfi do well through the middle, then make him play as a second fb in front of Martina.
Just get to may and consign this grim period to history lol
