We still need quality

I dont think its just a quality/quantity thing.What we are witnessing is Brands/Ancelotti bringing in the correct mentality. In the previous incarnation we bought players like Walcott/Sigurdsson who were never of a ‘win at all costs’ mentality. Weve had ‘nice’ players like Baines, Osman etc. I beleive we have now opted for quality + mentality. Reid, Bracewell, Big Nev, Sheedy. Yes lets not get carried away, we are only 1/2 injuries more away from bottom half but IF we get reinforcements of the Brands type, avoid crucial injuries in key players, we may be top four. And I have not had a drink...

We still need quality in the team yes it was a very good start but need a Striker back up GK ,Def because of injuries and a winger.

Sadly our fanbase has been feeding off the teet of Kenwright for near 2 decades up until 2016 of "go with what we've got" basically we only signed a player in a position that was absolutely necessary as we were utterly skint and couldn't afford to strengthen elsewhere.

That mentality hasn't changed in the fanbase despite the change in ownership so any talk of improving on someone like Kean or Bernard is chortled at.
