Weird Ads

I seem to be having a weird thing happen when using Chrome on my phone.

Every so often I'm scrolling up or down and it just goes off the browser and takes me to the App Store for games I don't want!

It's very weird. Anyone else get this?

I'm not clicking anything to make this happen I should add.

Any ideas?

Of where your directed an if you click back see what ad there is?

I can upload a picture to our google account you see to search for the matching rogue ad.

You can't click back back.

It literally takes you off the browser to the App Store.

This happened to me a fair bit as well, stopped now like, I think anyway. Kept taking me to Clash of The Titans or something like that.

@Millea are you using an iPad or iPhone? Reckon they exploiting safari or a cookie used by safari at least to redirect when opening a certain thread it seems. @GrandOldTeam

iPhone mate. Hasn't happened a lot in the past day or two. Will test it out again through the coming days though.

I'm not using Safari mate.

I use Chrome on my phone.

@ijjysmith doesn't matter what browser you are using it's the redirect from the ad that's serving you on the page you (we)are landing on.

Don't work too hard on it.

It's just about bearable. Just an inconvenience really.

Don't know if it's thread specific but it just happened like 5 times in a row in the 'Today's Football' thread.

I've not had it once but then it'll show more prominently to you because it'll assume you're now interested

Don't sweat over it mate, it's not really that bad for me from my experience. Hasn't happened today but I haven't used my phone much. Will see how it is tomorrow when I'm wanting to burn time in 6th form.

Randomly out of nowhere. Was in the Deulofeu thread and it took me to the App Store. Didn't click anything as I was scrolling.
