I loved Quiggins. It smelt of burnt toast and you could get band t shirts and rave gear there. And a haircut if you felt like it/dared.
Didn't the owner of Quiggins turn out to be a mad Nazi or something?

He was sound until Quiggins got compulsory purchased off him and his brother and he had some kind of breakdown, as he was convinced they’d been ripped off.

No idea why his breakdown turned him into a far right conspiracy loon, as he wasn’t like that before, quite the opposite in fact. He has a grown up child to a mixed race girl.

Before he went mad, he was good mates with one of my best mates and his family.

Pretty sure he’s done time over the far right stuff.

Quite tragic really.

There’s a shop in town here called Bargains Galore, it’s been there about 40 years now and genuinely it’s the most run down and scruffy looking building you ever did see. It still has the same stock in the window it’s had since day 1 and I don’t know anyone who’s ever bought anything in there. The owner seems a lovely bloke, a well known businessman of long standing named Mr Ash Ghani, he’s obviously a lovely fella because even the towns drug dealers pop in to say hello to him every couple of days.

It was an electronics shop called Bits and Bytes, that used to sell games and equipment for the likes of the Commodore 64 etc.
