He kept Middlesbrough in the prem twice and almost did it one more time. Miracle worker.

Dyche took over a consistent bottom half Burnley (apart from 1 season in the prem) in the championship while Southgate took over an established prem team of Steve McClaren that achieved between 7th and 14th in the past 10 years before he took over and got them relegated.

The which one is less turd debate is a waste of time, neither is good enough.

I don't want any of those to be manager here as I said multiple times, but for me Dyche and Burnley is a better achievement overall based from where he took the club over and where it's now than Southgate's.

His win rate with England was 60% because a huge chunk of fixtures were against actual farmers from semi pro leagues in qualifying. Why on earth you’d compare win percentages between a manager in international football and a manager in club football I’ll never know. Klopp’s win percentage at Liverpool was 60% so what we’re saying here is that Southgate is as good as Klopp are we?
Win rate IMO is the stupidest metric to measure a manager by. It's totally skewed by the quality of team you're in charge of. I'd wager Klopp's win rate at Mainz was pretty poor

That's the problem a lot of fans seem to have nowadays. Its also how a lot of continental managers get easy paths to top clubs. They'll manage Porto and everybody thinks they are miracle workers!
