Firstly then, thank you for your patience as we migrated GrandOldTeam to a new piece of software and server overnight.

I mentioned last month why the change was necessary and we tested this software extensively prior moving to it, firstly the moderating team and then it was available to all upgraded members. We're here now because the 60+ people who trialled the software all said it was an improvement. It needed to be, this forum cost a few bob, not to mention the time invested to make it work and move the old forum to it. I hope you'll all agree the expense and effort was worth it in providing a much faster, responsive and immersive forum.

That said, as a rule Evertonians don't like change and grumbles will only be testament to our papering over the cracks on the last forum but please have faith in us that this will be better and lend us some more patience and support as we configure a few tweaks.

Can we change it so our username doesn't appear under every one of our posts? It's enough to see the avatar and username on the left

i'm going to hazard a guess here, if you turn avatars off, then the name will go too, therefore you need it there to know who you're repping/reporting?

Intentionally we're trying to remove clutter on page load to speed things up. A 'Do we really need it' approach. We've removed a few bits to see many ask for it, that was one really.

Hover shows you the amount of pages as you say, and the indication really is in the amount of replies.

I've tried reading as much as I can but still have two questions. Is there a mobile view that basically simplifies(a bit more, this is ace) by removing avatar pictures? And is there an option for posts per page view?

Agreed. They need to be up at the top of the post.
