Update on my computer. Unfortunately the original 4+Ghz overclock was doing fine. Stable in stress testing in Prime95, but now I loaded up some games and started upping the detail levels and it started wigging out a little. Had to back the clocks of to 3.6Ghz with a 1.21 V vcore. I did some digging as to why it was unstable, and I have isolated it to my RAM! I got DDR2 800 speed ram and with the FSB so high it was actually making the RAM unstable. So until I upgrade to some DDR2 1000 or 1066 then my CPU will remain at 3.6Ghz. Although I have shown what it will do. I think I could get it up higher as my temps were more than adequate (highest I hit under Prime95 load was around 45 deg C------PARTY!!!!), and I have a cheap but effective Artic Freezer Pro 7. Just think of the temps with a Zalman CNPS fan in there! w00t!!!!
In short. Get a 45nm chip, either the E8400 or the Xeon version, the E3110. They rock.
