If Lukaku, Eto'o, and Osman are all doubtful then I suspect we'll see this:

Howard
Coleman - Stones - Distin(c) - Baines
McCarthy - Barry - Besic
McGeady - Naismith - Mirallas
One of Barry or Jags HAS to be dropped, and I think Gibson should be appearing from the bench rather than starting.... So Barry stays and Jags gets the bench. Pienaar, Gibson and Jags to come on around 65 mins for Distin, Barry and McGeady.

3 - 1 Everton. Naismith, Mirallas and Baines (pen) for us, Lescott with a header from a set piece for them.

Eurgh. Why ruin a good post by adding that bit in at the end?

I think this week's preview is an improvement on past efforts. It's shorter.

More pics please.

Also you didn't explain what caused the WBA, WBF, IBF etc rift. Always wondered about the politics behind that. Or the WWF, WWE, WCW etc.

Stones has to start. You can not concede 10 goals in three games and not change things.

Saying that it's far too early to be worrying about 'second season syndrome' or whatever. We looked outstanding going forward against Chelsea and if we sort out the defence we will improve on last season.

What's this about Eto'o being injured though?
