I just want Everton to show everyone they believe in this game. It is results that matter but we looked scared of conceding 2nd half on Monday. After a derby win we should have been bouncing into that game on the front foot and playing with confidence. Creatively we are a lot better than were showing at the minute. Am not saying we should change our formation or approach, it’s working especially away from home I just want to see more confidence in themselves when we have the ball. Pass it faster at a better tempo, every player we have on the pitch and bench tomorrow night are better than the opponent, match their workrate and show how good we are FFS

Not like it was the club that physically ended his career, a player who no longer plays here did it many years ago, would be a bit of a crappy grudge to hold against a club for that.

The problem with him and many other ex Liverpool players doing punditry or commentary is they never hide their bias it’s painfully obvious. Carragher gives us praise but you can tell it’s behind gritted teeth

I think people in general are getting fed up of these ex kopites plastered all over the TV now just because they played for them. It’s ridiculous.

He deserves our sympathy because it was one of our own that did his career in (not intentionally or with malice though). As much as I can't stand him I genuinely wish him well.
