I’m not in anyway advocating for the lad to play but the matches won stats and a few other bits seem to favour his selection and I think dyche gives stuff like that credence .

That just shows how poor a manager he is really that he can’t figure out how to win a game of football without that headless chicken donkey.

There's a difference in coming on at 75 minutes against tired and a more open defense than starting a game and being the focal point of the entire system. It's that simple.

Absolutely nothing.

Starting 11 should have a focus on form, not just his favourites. Beto like I said is far from perfect. But he deserves a start.

If DCL was flying, I’d say the same about him. But he’s not arsed

I will never understand the lads who beg for Beto to start, not pointed at anyone on here but it just baffles my mind.

Think it’s more that Dom has been sleepwalking for a couple weeks and when you combine that with his lack of any actual productivity and missed chances, why the heck not? I’d probably be fine going with Ndiyae up front for a game or two if Beto doesn’t get a go, even though it’s not a normal position for him. Not sure why Dom is undroppable once again this season. No goals or assists since Villa. 2 goals all season. Lazy performance last time out. Why does he have to keep his place?

Current injuries are Coleman Garner Iroegbunam McNeil Chermiti Broja

There’s some decent options in there if all fully fit. Considering Branthwaite and Patterson have only just come back as well it’s a bit ridiculous. We need to get a grip on injuries as it was a big reason we did better last season being able to play settled lineups.
