Isn't it fortunate for us that all the teams that we've beaten this season were having inexplicable off days at the time . The same goes for the rs. Both times we've played them they were below par. Very strange lol.

A near perfect performance, I don't buy the fact WH were terrible, I believe we'd have matched most teams with that attacking intent.
Always look on the bright side lad don’t you
Look at it this way
The 2 points we took of that shower of scum across the park will cost them the league

I cant figure this out and theres likely an easy answer but with threads like this how do you know what page the Match report is?
We used to have a "Threadmarks" feature. Does that still exist @GrandOldTeam? A handy feature for something like this.
I did not know that about Walter Becker and his connection with China Crisis, I will have to give it a listen. Grown up listening to Steely Dan, very sadly missed Walter.Back in the 80s a Merseyside band called China Crisis released an album called Flaunt the Imperfection...cracking album it was too. Walter Becker not only produced the album, but he featured prominently on it (keyboards)
...great musician, sadly missed.
Garth Crooks' Team of the Week Kurt Zouma:
What was that all about? Manuel Pellegrini said it was a bad day at the office? I'll say. West Ham were shocking. I've criticised Everton for their poor defending this season but I found myself applauding their clean sheet at London Stadium on Saturday.
The Hammers could have been two goals down after 20 minutes and were lucky it wasn't more. Meanwhile, Kurt Zouma is starting to look like a defender who can be trusted.
Did you know? Zouma has won 68% of his aerial duels in the Premier League this season, the highest percentage of any Everton centre-back.
More trivia: Steely Dan and the Eagles shared the same manager and enjoyed a warm relationship. On Steely Dan'sr album The Royal Scam, a song mentions the Eagles by name. So the Eagles returned the acknowledgement on their next album ...Hotel California. There's a line in the album's titular song: 'they stick it with their steely knives, but they just can't kill the beast' ...the steely being a nod to Steely Dan.I did not know that about Walter Becker and his connection with China Crisis, I will have to give it a listen. yes, soz mate...the peripateticism of my thoughts often 'wander off the reservation'. I shall earnestly endeavour to fetter such propensity. And @WalterBecker
This discussion, whilst interesting, is way off topic for a match thread - take it elsewhere please.
