Draw today, both managers get the sack.
Everton appoint Moyes. After some deliberation, WH unexpectedly appoint Lampard.
After promising start, we start getting poor VAR decisions go against us and eventually go down on goal difference due to an unfortunate late own goal.
West Ham stay up on goal difference after an unlikely late surge, Lampard is a hero.
Everton fans go into complete meltdown. Its written in the stars!

A classic six-pointer today.
According to the bookies, Moyes and Lampard are neck-and-neck to be next Premier League manager to be sacked but I don’t think Frank will be sacked no matter what happens. I think the board/owner wants him to resign so they don’t need a payout. No sign of it happening.
Win and we could be as high as 14th in the table.
Lose and we could be bottom.
A draw keeps us in the relegation zone.
No fingernails left - starting on the toes ?

West Ham v Everton

James Cantrill (@JimmythePunt)

At the half way stage, both these clubs find themselves the wrong side of the dotted line, on 15 points, with survival hopes looking bleak.

The Hammers campaign has been a story of wasteful finishing, with David Moyes side scoring 15 times from an xG of 26.87.

There is no doubt they have been on the receiving end of some negative variance but belief looks to be deserting this squad.

Infogol's model has them in 9th, which is why they should consider them unfortunate to be in the position that they are in.

In stark contrast, the Everton are suffering the consequences of their poor process.

The Toffees lowly position is justified by the underlying data. While they have been unfortunate not to find the net more times, they could have conceded nine more goals then the 26 they have according to the xGA.

With this in mind, I think backing WEST HAM to WIN is the play here.

Score prediction: West Ham 2-0 Everton (Sky Bet odds: 14/1)
