second best to west ham in every department and in every way.
jela osman and naismith are just running around chasing shadows. basically might as well have 3 little scool girls playing instead.
i dont get the tactics ( push west ham back , dont bother crossing into the box , then pass backwards or sidways till we lose it) and not enjoying watching this at all.

this is what concerns me too, i don,t care who we throw on if we use those tactics then it is going to be a very long day.

Barkley needs to learn more about tracking back. Too many times....including the goal...he is just standing watching. He's not Berbatov!

Plenty of time to learn though for the little legend....or to become brilliant enough to not do any work

So many things wrong with that first half.

-Jelavic: If Jelavic is going to be effective as a lone man then you need to get the ball to his feet. He is ineffective running channels and winning headers in the air. I personally wouldn't even have him on the pitch. Lukaku has to come on for the 2nd half.

-Naismith: Poor positioning, poor passing. Not good enough to starting in this team.

This slow tempo, playing it around the back has got to go. Distin and Jags are not comfortable doing it. Teams can just press and its panic stations. We should be distributing to the full backs and getting the opposition on the backfoot, not distributing Jags, Distin and Barry.

The entire teams positioning is way off. Very little movement. We should be using the flanks to stretch the oppositions back line, we need to be playing high tempo football. I could go on and on.

Must do better.

Pretty poor all over the pitch. Jagielka has reverted to hoofing it long, Howard looks dodgy, midfield is being over-powered and we have nothing up front. Only really Mirallas and Distin who showed up 1st half.
We can't be that bad all game, surely.
