West Spam stadium issues.

It's trouble like this which means whatever twisted money scamming consortium buys the Everton name off Moshiri, the club absolutely must own the new stadium. Renting is a no go.
it would be a struggle to find an alternative Tennent so negotiations might be easy

Because they don't own the stadium it doesn't count
According to that vid, the holding company loosing 20m a year, and WH are only providing 4m in rent and the holding company expect to lose 230m. They sold Upton Park for 38m (according to google). As a result of being given a long lease, they could capitalize an asset that they could never have done without substantial investment in an alternative (it costs us 750m apparently) and they are being subsidized by the state by the sum of 20m a year upto 230m. That's state aid surely?

It is, but not directly, so they'll get away with it.

Two legal battles on the horizon.

One in relation to how much the owners and/or caterers are charging for food and drink.

The other one is in relation to stadium naming rights. Apparently, the spammers seem to think that they should get every penny of naming rights that exceeds £4 million. So if year 1, they get (for example) 5 million, then West Ham get £1 million for that year, but after that, they get the full 5 million every year. The owners case is that they would get the first 4 million every year, and West Ham would get any revenue that exceeds that figure.
