Bought the new Dave Gilmour album today 'Rattle that lock' have listened to it a few times now, and although not a bad album, it just sounds too similar to his last album 'On an island' it was quite disappointing if I'm being truthful.

You could play all Gilmour's solo stuff back to back and you wouldn't know when one album ended and another began.

Totally agree mate. I played 'on an island' and then 'Rattle that lock' and you couldn't tell the difference, song for song there was no difference between the 2.
