The best version of the second best Oasis song. Gives me goosebumps every time.
Slide away is defo the best though.
If its acoustic I'm not surprised. His voice is just built to play acoustically.

He covered it when he was splitting up with his then missus, as he’d had enough of all the hangers on and non stop parties. It’s sang with real emotion and I’d guess it was aimed at her.

Often a performance enhances the song. I watch Jools Holland's Hootenanny every year and have never seen such a complete performance as this by Christine and The Queens
The image is of the Westin Seattle hotel around 1997. Those two towers were iconic until Amazon blew up and transformed (still transforming) that part of the city.
The song is ugly in the beginning...but finds facts in it's lyrics and goes on to be beautufully loud throughout. The quiet moments are poiniant.
