Check these out. Great band from Liverpool, very talented musicians and even more remarkable that the lead singer and guitarist only has one hand.

plays with a hook!

Apologies for the late response.

My mate, who also gigs in Liverpool still (Kenny Farrell, with Scallywag for many years) put me on to them some time ago. Incredible how that guy plays. About 4-5 years ago they had an endorsement with Gibson lined up, but I don't know what came of it.

Another great Liverpool band is/was Kappa. They played on the Cavern Pub late afternoon/early evening on Saturdays for a long time. Paul Kappa is a great guitarist also.

Yeah, Gibsons CEO discovered them on YouTube. They supplied them with kit and they went on to represent Gibson at loads of international events. During one of these they caught the attention of producer Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, the Stones).

He then offered to produce their first album.

Thanks for the tip, I will check them out. My mate is the brand manager at the Cavern club.

Played the Cavern Club (the big stage) in November 2006 at a book launch of 1970s Liverpool/Merseyside bands. My early-'70s rock band opened the event. The book was written by Tony Bolland, who worked at Hessy's and Plug Inn. He was also the driving force behind getting a blue plaque put up in Stanley Street to mark the place where Hessy's shop had been.
