Currently listening to a lot of brit pop.

6 of us from my over 45s football team put together a band to play at our clubs 50th anniversary - 4 weeks notice, 6 practice sessions, 4 out of the 6 had either never played in a band before or hadn't done it for over 20 years, and 5 of us are bass players. The rest of them learned guitar, drums and keys leaving me on the bass. Somehow we put together a decent show and loved it so much that 4 of us are sticking at it and putting together a britpop band.

I'm lucky, despite being the musical equivalent of Tom Davies, the rest of the band are like the holy trinity. I might change my name to Adam Clayton
