Saw them in like 1987 or so at the Cabaret Metro in Chicago. Brix Smith threw me (well, not to me, but toward me and others) her guitar pick, it said "Brix Smith" on it. Wish I kept it, but I gave it to my friend who was a bigger fan than I. He lost it.

Very kind of you. A drummer pal I play with was a couple of years behind Brix at the Dewey lab school in Hyde Park. He was kind of gaga over her and when she left he felt like he'd blown it by not asking her out, even though she was older and cooler than he was. When she turned up a couple of years later not only playing in the Falll but also married to MES he realized he'd have never stood a chance. He married a nice anesthesiologist instead.

I have never given the Rolling Stones a fair shake and decided to try and change that. Started with Exile on Main Street and to no one’s surprise I’m really liking it.
