Saw them 4x in the late 80s -early 90s, all at a club where you could get close. No words for how good they were.Me too mate, saw them at Cardiff Uni in 1987, supported by the one album Liverpool band Sex Gods / Balcony Dogs who I'm equally glad to have seen live as they were magnificent and disbanded pretty soon after. Makes me smile when I see these youngsters in their Ramones t-shirts who more than likely couldn't name a single song title.
I feel that you very rarely hear about Feeder, not sure what it was like back in the day but I'd imagine they would've been in the shadow of bands doing a similar sort of thing.
Never really gone in on them, listened through Polythene for the first time and decided I'd hit their singles album to get an overall taste. Should be right up my street and that Just a Day video is one of the most memorable videos from when I was a kid.
Love this. My favourite album of theirs.
