Got this album.beards ago, very 'soundtracky', sure it's same bloke but don't know the ensemble bit, will take a look

Cheers - looks like he’s doing a one off gig in Hackney in May.

The ensemble stuff is less dancey, more mellow.

Just been put onto him and I like his stuff very much.

God, haven’t heard that in years !

Me neither, a forgotten classic. Plus it featured Mick Ronson.

I also liked this one he did a year or two later, with Jaco Pastorius' bass stealing the show.
