Me either, but I'd def go back and have another look, there's musical patterns and sounds that have become almost stereotypes of genres filtered amongst their catalogue.

It's a journey well worth taking.

Oh sorry mate, cause it was a different thread I didn't get on to it. Yeah mate. I often put the music on usually the 70s stuff, when I'm on my own, after a few and the onions start to sting my eyes. Hahaha, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Look, I've tried but I just don't really get it tbh

There's definitely been a bit of backlash over the years against The Beatles -"Nowhere near as good as Band X", "Massively overrated" etc

They're rated exactly how they should be - which is the greatest band that ever was and will ever be

All of those albums (13) and songs - In a catalogue that spans only 7 years is absolutely mindblowing, and puts almost every 'modern' band to shame

I'm not an expert of 60's rock, but Beach Boys, Velvet Underground, Rolling Stones put out a lot of albums in a short space of time in the 1960's so maybe that was the done thing back then?

I didn't realise Paul Heaton was a Plazzie. When I turned on the program it was Dave Hemingway and Jackie Abbot singing and there was no sign of Heaton, so I googled him in case he'd died without my knowing. Shocked to discover he was born in Bromborough.
